Most of our handcrafted timber products are finished in orange oil and beeswax.  

Orange oil is used for its beautiful moisturising properties which helps to nourish thirsty wood.  The active ingredient is also a natural mould inhibitor and leaves a pleasant and lasting scent.

Over time you may notice that your timber products begin to look a little dull.  This is a sign that it's time to re-coat your piece to get it back to looking its best and ensure that it's adequately protected against wear and tear.  

We stock small quantities of our food safe finishing wax (in sample 50ml pots) ready for purchase.  To place an order, simply send us a message via the contact page and we'll prepare an invoice for you via PayPal.

It's an easy product to apply too!  Here's how:

1. Apply a small amount of wax on a rag and gently rub it all over your timber product
   
2. Go and enjoy a cuppa for 10-20 minutes while the wax soaks in and "does its thing"
   
3. Using a clean dry rag, buff the wax off until it's smooth and shiny
